Doctor of Chiropractor – Brighton Clinic
Dr Morten Westergaard is a Danish Doctor of Chiropractic (Not a Medical Doctor), graduated from the internationally renowned Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1998 where he obtained a Master of Science degree in Chiropractic. He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council. Chiropractic has been a central point of focus in his life after having experienced the profound benefits of care himself since early childhood. He is second generation chiropractor – in fact his family counts seven chiropractors! He has diverse practice experience having principally practiced in the UK as well as having consulted in Oslo, Norway. In Norway chiropractors are better integrated within the Norwegian Health Service than is the case in the NHS in the UK.
Due to his always positive outlook and his dedication to meeting patients’ high expectations he has become a well respected figure within the Sussex community. His areas of interest are longstanding low back pain and acute disc injuries. Neck injuries, headaches and chronic head pain also feature prominently in his case load.
The more common conditions affecting babies, children, shoulder, elbow, wrist hip and knee problems as well as pregnancy care are also catered for.
Being a family man he is proactive in ensuring that Chiropractic treatment is gaining its rightful recognition for its primary role in health care assisting people at all stages of life due to its ability to help a wide spectrum of health conditions.

Working as part of the reception at Best Practice Chiropractic my aim is to help and support our patients back to better health.
I started at Best Practice Chiropractic as a Chiropractic Assistant. Already I was a strong believer in the natural healing process. Having been treated by Dr Morten Westergaard myself, I feel very privileged to work in an environment where I see on a daily basis patients being helped and supported. I am committed to support our patients as their first point of contact.
I first became aware of the benefits of Chiropractic care when my husband had such a positive outcome following treatment for back pain at Best Practice Chiropractic. He noticed a great overall improvement in his general health and well being. Having chiropractic myself, I noticed my posture was much better and a real difference in my sleep quality too.It is a real pleasure to be working as part of a team that is dedicated to help each and everyone that comes to the clinic to reach their health goals -the natural way.
